I created a new folder in Files, but it’s not showing on the Resources page.

Make sure you have tried refreshing the page and closing out of your browser and reopening it. After that, there are two possible issues.

First, check to make sure that you created the folder inside the “Resources” file of Files. This is the only folder that is connected to the Resources page. “Files,” “Images,” and any other folders you create within the Files area are all still accessible from the Files area, but do not flow through onto the Resources page.

If the subfolder is in the “Resources” folder but it’s still not appearing on the Resources page, then it is possible you did not give yourself access to view the folder. If you are an Admin-level user, you have automatic unrestricted access to all files and folders. However, if you are an Editor-, Reviewer-, or Basic-level user, your access to the Files area is not inherent to your user access level – it comes from a user group that you are a part of. This means that you will only be able to see folders on the Resources page that have access rights assigned to one or more of the user groups to which you belong. Check the security settings on the folder you created – the reason you cannot see the folder on the Resources page is most likely because you don’t belong to any of the groups you assigned to this folder.

See the Quick Guide on Uploading Files and Resources for instructions on uploading files to the “Resources” folder and assigning file/folder access rights to user groups.
