The best way to keep track of customized content in CU PolicyPro is to use the Auditing Notes below the content.
Each policy has Auditing Notes available beneath the content. These notes can be used to document what has been customized for a particular policy, or to document who made certain updates or changes to a policy. Credit unions often use this documentation to determine how much custom content is included in any given policy versus the use of the model content.
The Activity Log for a policy will tell you when a policy was imported/created, deleted, restored, or saved, and which user performed these actions, but it will not tell you what specific changes were made to the policy when it was saved. Auditing Notes are the best way to document specific changes made.
See the Quick Guide on Editing CU Policies: Auditing Tools for detailed instructions on using Auditing Notes and the Activity Log.
